Quanto è piccolo il mondo

The life of giants is a bit strange, if you think about it. For them the world is very small: one step here and they are in America, one step there and they are in Australia. They wander from one land to another, from one continent to another continuously, complaining about everything: the numerous cyclists in Amsterdam, the tip of the Eiffel Tower that gets under their feet, the water of the canals of Venice. But perhaps there is a solution, shoes designed especially for them. The protagonist of this story tries them, then does his calculations and thinks again: what’s the point of traveling like this?

After reading the book and a moment of reflection on self-acceptance and the desire to adapt to others when we feel different, participants will be invited to play with the creation of a character by first drawing the lower part, such as the big feet. of the giant of this story, and then creating many characters by mixing body parts. TARGET: Boys and girls aged 5 to 9 years. Workshop freely inspired by the illustrated book “Quanto è piccolo il mondo” created with Angelo Mozzillo for Verbavolant editions.
