Mission Noverius, written by Chiara Valentina Segrè and illustrated by me for Editrice Paoline.

The little brothers Carlotta and Matteo play at being astronauts. They are leaving for a great space mission: abandoning the mother planet to reach the new planet Noverius. The two children are excited by the undertaking, but also a little sad: it is not easy to abandon their land, known and loved, and go into the unknown. Their simulation is actually a way to deal with the move to the new house.

The imagination with which they play, stimulating each other despite the difficulties, and the reassurances of their parents make the separation less problematic, making them experience this event as a great adventure.
